Hi my name is Monica. I am from Aruba. I bought a TT bike 4 months ago to do IM California 2024. Started training with it, but could not be in aero position for more than a few seconds. Which did a number on my back. I felt really unstable. Tried to make some adjustments myself, but it did not help. So I got here a couple of days before the IM and wanted to do the bikefit. Jack is the best! Very skilled at what he does. After an assessment and some Q&A’s, he made a couple of adjustments to the bike and the insoles of my bike shoes…. and I have to say: I never felt so good on the bike! Needless to say, I had a great IM (especially bike!) yesterday and even managed a 3rd place in my age category. Thank you Jack and Mike’s Bikes of San Rafael!

They were extremely helpful in getting me situated with new pedals and shoes, and giving me demonstrations (I am new to road biking and in my 50s) even though (accidentally) I came in just before closing. Also suggested good beginner rides and cycling communities appropriate for my novice level. Really terrific.

It was easy to set up an appointment. I got a call early on about needing new brake pads in addition the tune up I wanted, so I said yes to that. My bike came out looking good and running really well. I'm very happy with the service I got.
