The sense of community that exists in the Y and with the patrons utilizing it. I can only speak for kupuna like myself, but I appreciate the classes that help me remain healthy and the friendly contact with others in the classes.
The Mililani YMCA has many fun activities which helps in contributing to a very healthy lifestyle. It provides me with many exercise programs and also some very educational workshops. I participate in the Aqua Fitness and Enhanced Fitness classes three times a week for each class. It helps me to be healthy and fit. It's also a great place to socialize with many of the other participants. I highly recommend the Mililani YMCA.
I enjoy the variety of classes, especially chair classes. Because I have neuropathy, standing can be painful. With chair classes I still have an excellent workout due to your wonderful instructors and staff members.
Selection of teachers and different programs. Only thing is very limited evening classes and some classes are difficult to sign in for..many fill up so quickly..not able to get in.
The super nice staff (special shout out to KiMO and Jett) the exciting programs and activities, The excellent instructors- Joni Amuro is Awesome!!! The many friends I made with other YMCA members and the great facilities. I love it here!!
