We are new to Miller Swim School, and we have love our experience thus far. The staff is so engaged with the kids, kind, knowledgeable, and communicative Their communication with parents is 10/10 At the end of every single lesson they walk your child to you, make eye contact, and tell you specific personal information about how your child did in class that day.
We took swim lessons at another place in town and had a terrifying experience where my child was left in the water after her swim lesson, while I was in the other room changing my baby’s diaper. I was so horrified by the lack of procedure for giving kids back to their parents, and disregard fo teaching water safety that we cancelled our family membership and haven’t gone back. After experiencing miller swim school it is clear we made the right decision.
Great team, everybody is very supportive and caring! Miss D’s aerobics class is so much fun! It seems super easy at first but boy, are you going to be sore the next day and you’ll sleep like a baby after it for sure!❤️
The supervisor is wonderful. She makes you feel seen and heard. She wants to keep all of the families safe and makes you feel like family. She wants you to have the best time while at swim class even if your little one isn't feeling up to it.
My daughter has been having a difficult time with picking up her swimming skills. Miss Amber has been a tremendous help with both the instructors and my daughter on finding out what works with both to help with her skills.
She has gone above and beyond to help personally.
1. Helpful instructors; 2. Clear instructions on entering/leaving the pool; 3. Encouragement for students to level up; 4. Helpful website 5. Responsive phone call response.
We have had an overall great experience with Miller and my 2 year old loves going. However, his teacher recently left and now he has someone new and he cries when I walk him in. I wish there was more communication when teachers (or even GMs) leave. Kids thrive in routine and get used to the same faces, so when it changes, that can be hard for them. Even a quick email sent out to parents saying “hey, this teacher will be leaving, this is who is taking their spot” would be appreciated.
