I love the Water Aerobics class I go to 2x a week. Sharon Pennington is an amazing instructor. She cares about us and wants to see us all doing well. The music and routines are always changing. I am always working different muscle groups in different ways each week.
I love that there are open gym times and pool times for my kids to enjoy. I wish that since our local pool is closed this summer, that the Y would expand the pool hours for the summer. It's a missed opportunity for the kids.
The instructor continues to keep my daughter challenged in lessons. She has grown quickly in her ability to swim the length of the pool. She has also gained confidence in her ability to be in water deeper then she can touch, knowing she can swim to the edge or area where she can touch.
My kids love taking swim lessons at the Y! The class sizes are kept small, allowing for a good learning environment. My kids get excited to go and I feel good knowing they are learning valuable skills that will benefit them throughout their whole life.
My 6-year-old granddaughter and I swam in the pool twice last week. The laps at the 3-4-foot area were a good length. The water was a comfortable temperature. Later morning was not crowded, no dodging of other swimmers.
