Our son continues to grow and thrive at Mayfair Montessori Children's House. He tells us often how much he enjoys going to school to both socialize with his classmates and to learn new things. In the past months we have seen our 4.5 year old learn counting, basic math, geography, phonics, and arts/crafts. He is so close to reading!!! My wife and I are grateful for the care and support he is receiving from his teachers and staff.
Montessori Children’s House of Denver has been such a wonderful experience for our son. His independence has grown, he’s well above age level in several areas, and the teachers support his interests while ensuring he’s spending time exploring all the work stations. We couldn’t be happier!
Courtney has created such an amazing family at Mayfair. My sons teachers Irene and Arleth are absolutely incredible. We feel like a true family and a wonderful community. We recommend Mayfair to all of our friends :)
Well-run school with skilled, professional and loving staff, consciously created and welcoming environment, many opportunities for community engagement. It’s evident that the children feel a strong sense of belongingness and wellbeing and thrive as they advance through the curriculum.
Our child is learning life skills every week. He is eager to go to school and sad when is he is not able to attend. In short time he has made friends. Learning new areas in math, reading and science.
Safe, eco-friendly and homey environment consciously designed to invite and encourage the children to be curious and explore, thus building their capabilities, independence and confidence.
Professionalism, kindness and self-awareness of staff, as well as great administration, effective delivery of the Montessori curriculum by the teachers and strong communication skills by all.
Very compassionate and accommodating of families with special challenges of various kinds, as well as providing guidance to parents, when sought, and referring them to pertinent resources.
Continuous efforts to facilitate and nourish the parent community and engage them in the wider Denver community (e.g., through food drives, school backpack drives, plastic bag recycling).
The toddler classroom teachers are the absolute best. By the first semester we felt like family and our son loved going to school just to be with them. Their guidance and thoughtfulness extended outside of the classroom and even wiith tough family losses were incredibly supportive. They made being a parent easier by keeping us updated on our son’s progress, helping fill in and be creative when the inevitable parenting things happen (missed emails, forgotten supplies) and were generally so warm and loving with all of us in the family.
The caring and professionalism of the staff, good communication, nurturing and conscious environment, the respect shown every child and the ways the school works to build community.
We love the current team at the Mayfair campus. With two kids in different rooms, we have had the pleasure of interacting with almost everyone working on this campus in spring 2025. Without exception, this Mayfair team has been kind, caring, and dedicated in every interaction. Our older child struggled with several staffing transitions in Garden Level during his first year, but Irene and Arleth have established a mindful and vibrant classroom that he loves being a part of now. Our younger child absolutely thrived in his first year in the toddler room with Thea and Claudia and has transitioned easily to Main Level this summer. Courtney has been a steady guide through it all and has built a truly wonderful team full of gems. Treasure them!
