I enjoy using the lap pool for exercise. I would, however, really like it if they can either not have music playing, or at the very least have it playing at a lower volume. The speaker is right at pool level and it blasts into our ears. Some of the guards play music too loudly. Honestly, if swimmers want to listen to music while they swim they can easily use swim friendly ear pieces. No need to make everyone else listen to a speaker pounding out music.
I travel and I expected to pay for my trainer and go when I was in town. I didn’t really read the sentence of expiration and no one said your lessons expire soon. So I lost money for 8 lessons! I will never have another trainer.
Billy is an exceptional trainer. My children loved learning to swim with him. They will be starting lessons 3&4 soon. Too bad Billy won’t be there 🥹. However, we are confident we will get another exceptional trainer.
The staff is super-friendly. I love the lounge area that has coffee: people gather together there to talk. There’s a great family atmosphere with all of the kids coming and going for sports, and the pools are excellent!
I grew up on the water in New York and am sad my kids don’t get to go to sailing camp etc. I love that they get to be on the water at Camp on the Lake. The counselors have been so great. We love Boomerang, Meatball, and my boys love Lobo. They are happy and friendly! It’s just been a great experience 3 years in a row. All the benefits of camp but not having to stay overnight. Thank you!
