I loved the service from Mr Handyman the minute I called to ask for help with a small residential project. They never once made me feel my job was too small. Matter of fact, they encouraged me to get my money's worth from the project and they were most helpful.
Bruce did great work on my 3 small projects. He was polite and knowledgeable. I was able to schedule the work promptly- just one week out, which was great. Communication was good, with text messages to confirm and then advise he was on his way.
I do think the price is high. After subtracting cost of material, I did the math to discover I was paying
$123.00 an hour for labor. I did a little research and found that average rates for handyman services are $60-$80 per hour, with plumbing usually costing more. I would be happy to call Mr. Handyman again, but I would first look for an independent handyman who might charge less.
We have used handyman several times in remodeling our lake home. What we like most is that they stand behind their work. If something isn’t exactly right, handyman comes back and makes it right. They are dependable honest, and reasonable.
