Every time Mr. Handyman sends Les to my house, my list gets taken care of and my house isn't messed up in the process. I like looking around at all the nagging little problems I had before he arrived, and it makes me happy just to see it all fixed and working. It's remarkable how nice it is to have a doorbell start working again, or chairs that are unsafe to sit on suddenly be put back into service.
Having Les come fix all my stuff is as helpful to me as having a really good psychiatrist - it is uplifting to see my new vertical blinds and valance every morning, instead of my old sheer curtains. And Les is a delight to be around. He approaches his job with enthusiasm and finds good solutions to the tasks I need done.
I like the idea that you can take care of all the things in the house with rare exceptions. Steve was on-time. He was efficient with his time and gave us some advice about things he could help us with in the future. There was something that happened with a repair place that fixed something previous to his getting there. The person did not fix the ground wire and we could have been electrocuted. I was there when it happened (the item falling down with the previous repair person) but I didn't realize there was an actual potential hazard that it wasn't fixed 100% properly.
