I love the two workout classes that I take at the Y! The instructors, Virginia and Sandra are the best!!! I also, love the friendliness of the people that greet you when you first walk in the building.
I love how the Y acts as a community center. I see friends, widows, widowers in the common area sipping coffee and staying socially and mentally engaged which is key as we age. Throw in the focus on physical health & fitness, and you've got it all. I have met so many new friends in my Group Excercise classes, and feel such a connection with my (excellent) instructors, that the Y is integral part of life.
