Have given the feedback before - we had issues with one swim class and called the local Y, emailed and called the aquatics director and got absolutely no response. The manager did reach out a couple months later and absolutely ensured our concerns were addressed but I am also hoping that the process when things occur gets smoother.
Amazing instructors work at the Y.
Jen, Tabi, Virginia, Nicole, Steve, Lily, to name a few.
The people who come to classes are awesome, too.
That's why I keep coming back.
Oh, and to work out. Yes.
We really enjoyed the sessions we attended led by Instructor Maria ❤️active older adult exercise and tai chi.
She has a great way about her and her teaching style is an extension of that . Maria made us feel very welcome and comfortable to join the classes . Several people in the class also came over to introduce themselves and welcome us .
We usually go to the Campo Y but will be returning to Kingsway for Maria’s classes!

Though I still see needed improvements in hiring more experienced instructors for GroupX and in the active older adult area and providing more quality classes, I have been feeling more positive about North Brandon YMCA in the past few weeks. Dena and Zach have been great to work with but with the hiring of our new director, Julie Adams, I have felt a renewed energy. I see her actively walking around our campus, talking to members, meeting with staff, and her "We will get good things happening" mantra. I love that we are going to be offering golf lessons to children, Spanish-speaking swim lessons and Spanish-speaking staff members at the Welcome Desk who can assist the large Spanish-speaking population in the area. I have been at North Brandon for many years and consider it my home. I am looking forward to staying here and seeing how the new regime can recharge our campus.
We had a few hip cups with the swim lessons my daughter was enrolled in. Deana went above and beyond to understand our situation and address the problem. The intent to follow up and listen to members was a good surprise. I do with this didn’t take over 2 months to happen, or that we had gotten information when we contacted the front desk, emailed the aquatics director, etc - but trust improvements are happening. Many thanks.
