We like the many options the club has to offer. From shooting basketballs to the weight machines and most importantly the walking track. The only suggestions I would make is for announcement for the running track to be cleared when joggers start sprinting for the safety of others on the track. When no warning is given a walker may not be aware that a runner at full speed is about to pass and a dangerous collision could occur. Just a thought for your consideration.
NLRAC has an excellent, professional and a very friendly staff. The establishment is kept very clean and up to date in equipment. The only minor drawback - the inside pool , the water could be a little warmer at the entry, but once you are in the water the body adjusts and it is comfortable. The pools are in excellent condition and very clean and the Hot Tub is large for 8 individuals and in excellent working condition. It is a pleasure to go their for a workout.
Very clean facility-- equipment and restrooms, pool, gym areas
Classes wonderful...silver sneakers and the teachers are very good and always show up to teach us. Variety of music and exercises keeps me coming back also very social atmosphere.
Enjoy watching kids program!!
Staff at door very good and know our names which is so helpful!!
I have really enjoyed the classes available at 5:30AM since I have to workout before my family wakes up and I have to get ready for work. The instructors are SO friendly in the sculpt, body pump, and insanity classes.
I like the atmosphere. I appreciate the helpful staff and how they greet members and potential members. I especially like that there is no longer a contract. It's great that there is a sauna, steam room, and outdoor pool. I would very likely recommend NLR Athletic Club.
It's not crazy busy. Prices are decent for everything included a, spa/locker rooms, ball court, classes, indoor and outdoor pool. I wish you guys had a smoothie bar or something though that was current.
I enjoy the personal trainers, but feel like people get 'lost in the shuffle' at work out facilities...in my ideal gym, a staff member would be out there in the gym watching that people are using machines correctly, suggesting new routines, stuff like that. And I think many of your classes are almost antique...I was bouncing around doing very similar exercise routines in the 90's. I did enjoy the yoga and foundation training classes, but my friends who live in other cities get to do classes in solid core...etc. Another class that was okay was the barre.
