My husband comes to the Y five days a week. He rides the bike, shoots basketball, plays pool or ping pong and works on upper body strength with a trainer once a week. Keeping him active and engaged is making a huge difference in our journey with dementia.
We love our experiance and time spent at the Northumberland Family YMCA. We have been a member since June 2020 and no disappointments ever. The staff is incredible with their knowledge, sincere desire to help the members with their health and fitness goals and their sunny dispostions!
The facility as well as the equipment is clean and spotless and always in working order. They upgrade equipment as needed so we have the state of the art workout.
The variety of different classes from pickleball, cardio sculpt, brains and balance, total body conditioning, hi lo aerobics, women on weights, bootcamp, kickboxing training, step and tone, YES and zumba should be enough variety for all to find their specail class workout.

Because of my knees I only lift weights.. I enjoy the facility and the staff .
I do get frustrated at times when members are on the phone while sitting on the equipment rather then work out..
But thanks again for reaching out
