Courteous staff, exceptional trainers, clean and well equipped facility, and enough space that even when busy I can find stations to continue my workout.

The group fitness classes have good instructors that are easy to follow, enthusiastic, and start classes on time.

I like swimming and would like to start using the weight room more regularly.

I attend my granddaughter‘s volleyball game at the town lake Y. I also love the aqua cardio and strength training at the northwest Y. The teachers are amazing and the classes are so much fun.

The facility itself is always clean, well-maintained, and incredibly convenient to access. What truly makes this branch stand out, though, is the exceptional staff—everyone from the front desk to the instructors is consistently welcoming, helpful, and genuinely invested in the community. On top of that, the variety and quality of the programs offered are fantastic, providing something engaging and accessible for everyone. Thank you for maintaining such a vibrant, supportive, and high-quality environment!

I wish to ask if the pool bottom can be vacuumed more often. And can you make the water slightly warmer. When things break can you fix it more quickly? can you train all lifeguards to fix the chemicals so the early swimmers don't have to miss their swim?

Bret is an amazing instructor! He teaches techniques in details and meets the swimmer where ther're at, I highly recommend him, sad that his May classes were already full.

For me it's all about the weight room. That facility is the main component of my health and fitness regimen. Thanks for keeping it clean and well maintained! One frustration is that there is only one leg press machine and only one hip exercise (Adductor / Abductor) machine. I occasionally have to skip one or both of those because they are continually occupied.

I love Karen's QiGong class, which has become an essential part of my week. She is such a caring and inspiring teacher! There are other classes I would explore if it weren't such a [LAST NAME REMOVED] drive for me from Central Austin.

I love the instructors, and the quality of scheduled classes are worth signing up for. The entire staff at the Northwest YMCA is fantastic and so helpful! I have to say this. The front desk staff are incredibly kind, and helpful, and says hi to you by name with a smile !!! Julia is always approachable, and such a people person! One of the things that I love about Julia is that she is EVERYWHERE, visible, talking to members, and staff. I want to be just like her. So kind, and wonderful. This YMCA is so clean!!! I LOVE the flower garden out front!!!! Kudos to whom ever designed it.

Each Class offering has choices of different timings during a week, through various Teachers. The class availability from early morning to evening allows members the flexibility to plan classes around other commitments. Facilities are well maintained and access is available, as needed. Hydration is possible with ice water, tea and coffee during the morning hours. A wide variety of activities are available from Yoga to Weights etc.

The instructors/group exercise leaders are very good. There is much variety in the classes, and it's easy to find just the right activity for myself. The front office staff is very friendly and helpful. The building is clean and well kept.

It is just easy for me to get there and I have never had an issue with staff or another member. I swim every other day now from every day since I quit driving. The reason I quit driving is because I had an accident at the exit. The City of Austin Traffic Engineer should be fired because the Traffic Light at the exit to McNeil Dr is unnecessary to say the least. It may be necessary at peak hours but certainly not all day. I can understand a Stop Sign that would require Stopping and then proceeding when clear. I can only imagine that there have been many Accidents at that intersection. I would like the YMCA to inquire into the City changing that Light. Most of the Lights on Parmer Lane should also only apply to certain hours, not all day.
