I like the community-oriented vibe of the Okmulgee YMCA. Every time I go I am greeted by someone who knows me or my kiddos and they are excited to see us. We recently used the play and learn for the first time and it was a wonderful experience. My 16 month old normally has an issue if I leave him but he walked right in and made himself at home. The big kids enjoyed it too which is sometimes hard to find a balance between the littles and the bigger kiddos in terms of entertainment. We love the basketball court where my son can hone in on his skills. The gym area upstairs was nice, well-lit, clean, and accessible. It had nice equipment that was up to modern standards. We love our local Y!

A variety of programs and activities for all fitness levels. I love that I can still exercise and stay close to home (don’t have to go to Tulsa to access a gym). The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. In the town of Okmulgee there is not much offered for families- I am thankful for Okmulgee YMCA … it’s a wonderful place!!!!
