I love the structure of the workout and the energy of the room. I enjoy having a coach to cheer you on and correct/complement form. Each day is different enough to stay engaged while not letting your body adapt. The only issue I have with this current location is there is more members than class spaces. If I don't sign up 2-3 weeks out I am waitlisted. With my work schedule this can be hard to do. Then I end my month with i unused sessions.
It's hard! Having a coach really helps. I go to Monica's class, and I like her coaching style. I don't have to think about what comes next (sometimes at the gym I improvise because what I need is taken) It really helps me push myself. I also like that it's trackable. I didn't think seeing the stats after a workout would matter, but it's nice to see in a graph like how hard you worked during class.
I started taking classes at Orange Theory with a specific goal in mind: to train for an upcoming "big birthday" trip hiking Machu Picchu in September 2017. I particularly wanted a coach/trainer in a small class setting who would motivate and encourage me to achieve some pretty lofty goals. I am semi-retired having worked in the fitness industry most of my life. I needed the extra "push", but am pretty picky about where and with whom I take classes.
I am continually challenged by the classes, impressed with the staff who welcomes me -- by name, I might add -- at the reception desk, and the knowledgeable, friendly coaches I have had the privilege to take classes from.
Best of all, my endurance has increased, my body is stronger and I feel great!
You have a fan!!!!
