Every work out is challenging and different. I love that I can just check my mind at the door and just follow the coaches instructions and get an amazing work out each time! And I've seen results. I've always been a runner but adding weights has really sculpted my arms and shoulders.
While I have only attended one (free) class thus far, I absolutely LOVED it! I loved it so much, in fact, that I signed up for membership immediately afterward.
There are several aspects of the workout that I liked:
* I was impressed by the attentiveness and attention to detail that the front line staff provided. I was made to feel welcome, I was given a tutorial on what to expect, and I was shown how to use the water rower (something I hadn't before used).
* I required modification for some of the exercises due to trapezius palsy (originating from a surgical error). The trainer (Joel), checked in on my frequently and provided modifications that allowed me to still get a challenging workout without drawing attention to my issues.
* I really liked the training concept. It was so neat to see real-time data and adjust my workout intensity accordingly and to receive the workout summary afterward. I was nervous that there would be an air of competition between other attendees, but I didn't get that impression at all. In fact, the folks I met welcomed me to the club and offered kind words of encouragement.
Overall, I am very satisfied with the workout and I look forward to my second workout this evening!
Everything! The mix of cardio and strength workouts. Treadmills are bouncy reducing negative impact on knees. Willingness/ability to adapt to the needs/limitations of the participants. Very friendly atmosphere. The coaching style and heart-rate monitor are good motivators. Easy to book online and regular notices/reminders. Thanks!
