I like that I can come in at a time that's convenient for me and workout. I get strength and cardio all at once. My go-to classes are typically in the morning, but if I can't make those times, I can also get a class later in the day. It's a win-win situation all around.
I love the concept of the work out and the energy it gives me. In a one hour work out at Orangetheory, I get a personal trainer led work out with a group of people who help motivate me to push harder than I do in other group classss or when working out on my own. Moreover, being able to watch my heart rate motivates me to keep up the pace if I start to slow down. It's not an easy workout, but when you are finished, you know that you have accomplished what you came to do.
I love the workout. I feel I walk out of there with a full body workout in only 1 hour. I also like it is a different workout every time. It is the most challenging class I have ever done. I am definitely hooked on this type of fitness.
I like that I am able to see my progress throughout the whole class by wearing my heart rate monitor and that there is always some cardio involved in every class. I especially like all of the trainers here in Athens because they're encouraging to all and create a fun environment. While some workouts can be more challenging than others, I never leave Orangetheory regretting my decision to come.
I like the way OTF combines the class workout with individual coaching experience. The coaches, in Athens, are very supportive of the members. They make the workouts challenging. The variety of exercises, and workouts that do not repeat keep the classes challenging. I like the many choices of times available to workout. Most of all I like the results. I went from 235 to 170 lbs in about 1 year. Body fat of 32% down to 18%, and heart rate reduction. At 58 years old I'm surprised by what has been accomplished, this was not done alone. OTF coaches and staff deserve much of the credit, and the OTF system.
