I wish the Birmingham location would offer more community events for members to participate in -- such as happy hours, hikes, sports leagues, or runs/jobs outside the studio. I think this will go a long way to making the location feel more like a community.
That it's different each and everyday. Keeps us guessing and keeps our bodies guessing. Also, I like various challenges such as the dri-Tri, marathon challenge, etc.
However, I am growing frustrated with all the changes in instructors at the Birmingham location. I feel Birmingham always gets the shaft when it comes to instructors. People are trained there and they do a good job and they are moved to another studio or just leave altogether. The instructors matter!!! Some instructors are more motivating than others. Some actually take the time to correct form and understand your needs. For example, Jeri, Sarah, and Chris. They are the best!
As the name says so well, there's a theory, and I find it's an effective and valid theory. As I increase my workout intensity in the Orange Zone, I am working toward my weight goals and even when I'm mostly in the green, I can feel the benefits for days afterwards. Good set up, great instructors and every respects the different zones we are in that day.
Thank you for your smart and hard work putting this all together.
I love that it changes up.
However I have been a member now since Birmingham opened and a lot of the floor exercises seem the same.
id love to see more TRX and Bosu (hardly ever use them, are they gone?)
and I think the partnering is very fun.
