I've been a member of OTF Broomfield for almost 4 years ... our anniversary is coming up in May! :-) The workouts are always changing and always challenging. I have added other workouts (outside of OTF) into my weekly regimen, but I look forward to my OTF classes every week!
I like everything about the workout. Maintenance of the facility and machines don't seem to be a priority. Examples: 1. The machines don't seem clean. Sure, they get wiped down with wet wipes a few times an hour, but there is dust in the vents of the treadmills, hair and dust on the tracks of the rowers, and gunk on the rowers where your feet strap in. 2. There is an orange cover missing from one of the overhead lights in the back -- maybe it's for more light, maybe it's broken and just hasn't been replaced. 3. One of the treadmills is missing the cover switch for the up/down speed button. As a result, I've seen people avoid this machine if they can.
I like that you work your whole body and you improve your cardio too. I also like that the workouts are very organized and high energy, so they go by fast. Finally, I like that you are working with a group, but it's up to you to do what you need to do at your pace.
Intense workout that includes strength and cardio - different workout and always something new. Increases my intensity in running and my conditioning for the end of the race. The times work for me; early in the morning getting it done!
