I like that it is always different and that you only stay at each station/piece of equipment for a few minutes at a time. I have only been to one class but the coach, Jerry, was very motivating and helpful! I LOVE data, so I love that you get a ton of data regarding your body and your workout. The music is also very high energy and motivating! Finally, the front office staff, particularly Jimmy, was super helpful and friendly!
My daughter had told me how friendly everyone there is, and how the coaches seem to really care how you're doing/whether you're getting the most out of the workout - without overdoing it. I found all of this to be true. It's a group class, but it has a very personalized vibe to it. OT was actually my Father's Day present, and I arrived concerned that my 61 year old body wasn't going to hold up very well. But I hit 45 splat points and burned nearly 900 calories...and lived to tell the story.
Orange Theory is a workout that keeps you accountable with the heart rate monitor tracking progress. I like the diversity of people in the class= all fitness levels. The music is loud- which I love. I don't want to hear myself run, moan or breath heavy. The instructors push you, coach you, inspire you. I don't have to think about it. If I just show up, do that they say, I know that I am going to get a good work out.
I like the coaching and the diversity of each workout. The program really pushes me and I've seen great improvement in my performance in the few months I've been a member. It's fun, but challenging. Highly recommend for those who like structure and need to be pushed.
