The workout has a nice range of weight training and cardio. I get a great workout in and I switch activities before any one activity gets super overwhelming. The music is invigorating but not insanely loud. The coaches are helpful and positive and so are the other people working out with me. I also like that this workout draws a wide range of people from the community: younger, older, men, women, all shapes and sizes.
I really love the coach Ralanta, she is passionate, energetic, motivated, and very approachable. When I first met her, she treated me like a welcome member of the team and even though I was hesitant to start working out again, she let me know that I was “working hard just by walking in the door.” I appreciate the way she pushes us to draw inspiration from the challenges. We are overcoming in our own life and bring that to the exercise room. Ralanta encouraged me throughout my first session, and even congratulated me publicly so the entire group could cheer me on. I’m so excited to come back!
I love the atmosphere, the coaches, the people, and the workouts. I love that the workouts change each time which keeps me on my toes and I love the fact that the coaches are truly there to help you make the best of each workout! The fact that I have someone there telling me what to do and when to do it is a huge plus!!! And did I mention they play the best workout music mashups during each class! It’s like working out in a nightclub!!!!

I love the workouts. I love the variety. I love how one's fitness 'desires' can be adapted to each workout.
In recent months there has been a change, more like an addition, with the Lift classes.
First just weights, then tread, and, who knows, before long maybe rowing!
It is as if a class can be broken down to focusing on one area!
Barracks has very friendly and motivating coaches that are clearly dedicated to what they do. I am never left confused or doubting my ability to complete these workouts.
