If you want a great workout, you must go to Orange Theory. Each workout is one hour long and is tailored to the shape you are in. You spend about 30 minutes on the treadmill. You spend about 15 minutes rowing and 15 minutes in the weight room doing different exercises each time.
Every time I am finished with a workout I know I have really pushed myself as hard as I can. I have been a member at Orange Theory for almost 2 years and I think it is the best.
The overall aspect of the training sessions within a week works on every muscle group balanced with great cardio. The only thing I don't like are the peak performance weeks with the 2,000 (or is it 2,000,000!!) meter rowing. I can't figure out what the benefit of such a long distance twice a year does for a person. Nothing more than a mile should be done as far as I'm concerned. It's discouraging. Our daughter had a friend that wanted to try out OTF in Austin and came on that day for her first "visit". She'll never come back. Challenging workouts are necessary, but shouldn't be enough to kill a person.
