As a retired college swimmer, OTF is the closest thing I can get to a swim practice-like workout, but on land. I love the intervals, the pyramids, and rotations through the different sets, stations, and variation of the training days (E, S, P, ESP, tornados). I don't get bored and by wearing the heat rate monitor, I'm always challenged. I leave knowing how many calories I burned and feel like I've accomplished something. Everyone is jealous of my arm muscles. ;)
I usually enjoy the music too, Benjamin's plays lists are the best!
The results. I never go and feel like I haven't had a good workout. You can continue to push yourself and there's always a way to improve and get stronger. With every workout I can also tell that I'm getting stronger. It's easier to run or row and I'm faster
I love that it is a solid hour of working hard. I leave every single workout feeling like I've really pushed myself and the more I go, the more I want to go. I feel like it's the most productive hour of my day!
