I love OTF! It's the hardest workout I've ever done, but I'm the strongest I've ever been. I love the coaches and the multiple classes per day allow me to choose what works for my work-at-home schedule. I have two suggestions;
1. For those of us who have unlimited monthly packages - could you consider offering a 1-2 time "grace" for no-show or late cancel per month? I come 4-6 times per week on average but have the occasional no-show/late cancel due to life. I understand you may lose business if someone doesn't show up to a full/wait-listed class. But particularly if the class is half full, it seems a bit unfair to be charged another $12 on top of the monthly fee. Obviously I wouldn't be asking this if it was something that happened once a week - but once or maybe twice a month seems reasonable.
2. Love your coaches. I'm particularly fond of Kathleen, Brian and John. I know that Jenny is relatively new and is still getting in the groove. But her style of coaching is very unmotivating. She has an inflection in her voice that makes it sound like she's just rattling off phrases that need to be said during class. She would do well to take cues from her class and coach based on the individuals instead of pacing the floor and not really paying attention to what is actually happening. I have begun to schedule classes so that I can avoid her coaching. I think she has the ability to do a good job, but for me, she's falling short. And I can also tell you that I've spoken to other friends who take OTF and they feel the same way.
Your team is very kind, patient and helpful w/ someone who is new to OTF! I appreciate great client service and that's what I have received in my first week...THANK YOU! I have pushed myself this week - M/W/F - it was a great workout...look forward to the result!
I love that each workout is a new challenge. OTF's Downers Grove staff is the best. The coaches are motivating and fun and the front desk staff is friendly and helpful. The studio is bright which I love. I drive 20 minutes to this location even though I have one three minutes from home.
It is a great combination of cardio and strength all put together for you in a 60 minute workout. The workouts are different each day and there are excellent certified personal trainers to guide you and encourage you through the workout. The best thing about it is that produces amazing results!
