It's different every day.
It challenges me to go harder than I would on my own.
The coaches (Lauren and Zach)
As much as I like that the classes can accommodate more, I don't like the 3 group workouts. I feel like the workout isn't as good.
I've been to the Carlsbad and Solana Beach locations and I really like the Encinitas location the best. I like that it is small. Feels less like a "gym".
Great staff. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. I had a terrific first class. The coach was supportive and checked in on me throughout the class. It was terrific customer service and a wonderful workout. Can't wait to come back!
I like that it is a full body workout in 1 hour. The classes are always different enough that I never get bored or feel like I'm plateauing. The peer pressure also helps hold me accountable. I attend the 8:15 class. I sign up for classes at the beginning of the week. If I wake up and just don't feel like coming in, I still go so I don't get charged the cancellation fee. So many times I skipped gym days because I couldn't motivate. I don't skip OTF. I'm in the best shape I have been in.
The balanced approach to cardio and weights. Extremely productive - get in and get out. Music needs to be more consistent and uplifting - heavy metal is a no go for most. Front Desk associates should wear name tags and starting on time is a must. The coaches are awesome!
While I am still new to OT. I have to say I am really intrigued with the whole program. I love the work outs and look forward to them. It is Focused, guided and hard. Don't have to think about what to do, just show up ready to work hard and get after it.
Good instructor, good facility. One thing I would recommend is giving out reservation cards for the treadmills based on when you arrive, instead of having the free-for-all of people rushing in when the doors open.
