Structured lessons that cover cardio and strength each day. One hour of hard work and done! Also, the use of the heart monitor and tracking of results is very encouraging.
Love the coaches at OTF Evanston!
It's always a tough workout. Don't have to think too much since you're told what to do throughout which makes it easy. Variety of workouts and constant changing keeps it interesting and I like not knowing what I'm going to get.
It is a full body workout presented by highly trained coaches. The staff are also very well organized and professional. It is a VERY well run operation.
The only gripe I have is that the studio is a victim of its own success. Evanston is a relatively small studio and can become very crowded in both the lobby and gym area during capacity 3 Group workouts. In addition, over the past year, the studio added an extra station where it really should not have and has had to go to 3 Group workouts at the most convenient times for people in the area. I have personally bumped into people in the weight room and bumped elbows on the rowers many times. And the lobby crowds at 6 am can be a real turn-off (it takes some fortitude to push your way in). I consistently see "new" people trying it all the time which may beg the question about when it may be time to cap the membership. Yet, I get that it's a business and it may thin out over the summer, so you have to keep pushing memberships. It is a really small space for a full 39 person 3 Group and the crowds just make it a bit of a drag at times.
