I love the class because it keeps me moving and striving for a better body, without feeling self-conscious in a crowded class where the instructor doesn't keep an eye on his/her class members. I like the variety, and the instructor consistently cheering us on.
I like the upbeat music, and the equipment that actually works! I like that there are all ages, sizes and shapes, not just wanna-be models and weight lifters. I like the friendly staff and the fact that signing up and being placed on the waitlist means you usually do get into the class you wanted. I like the personal touches, and the clean restrooms. I like the community feeling and most of all the feeling of having put in a decent work-out for an hour, coming out with everyone at the same time, sweating and heart beating energetically, and feeling triumphant that you spent an hour doing something good for yourself.
I love the variety in workouts, the amazing trainers, the ability to hold myself accountable by checking the scoreboard, the ability to compete with myself and see my results in email format, the energy of a group setting, the challenging nature of every class, the ease of class registration, the friendly staff, the cleanliness of the studio, and so much more.
The group setting was quite motivating, and the screens with all of our heart rates brought out the competitive side in me--vs. others and, more particularly, vs. myself. I enjoyed the variety of movements. And the monitors promote accountability, which I need specifically in areas I dislike such as the treadmill.
