I'm a long distance runner (ultra marathons) and do orange theory twice a week for cross-training. It helps me stay injury free, develop my core muscles and all out speed. In just two months of classes, I have noticed that I am running faster and stronger than ever before. My easy pace is generally 30-45s per mile faster than before. I like that the workouts are pre-planned, work the whole body, monitor heart rate and are challenging. All I have to do is show up and give it my best! In long distance running it is easy to run a bunch of miles at an easy pace without challenging yourself cardiovascularly. Orange Theory has been a great way to get in some higher intensity workouts!
