It was a really good workout. I really like the motivation of being in a group, it keeps you going. I do think this is more for cardio and weight loss than building muscle. I would use this as cardio and still do my regular weight training routine.
Motivation + Energy = Orange Theory. I did a trial class with a friend who is a member. I really enjoyed many aspects of the concept overall. This may not be something I would do on a regular basis but to incorporate it 2-4 times a month it would be a huge bonus!
The facility is clean, the instructor (Shawna) was friendly and motivating, the atmosphere isn't too loud or too quite. It's the perfect balance what's needed to get your heart rate pumping!
--- The other staff members were also very accommodating, I was a tad late and they were still kind enough to make sure I could participate. No one was was pushy for sales. I feel they we're also VERY transparent with the pricing options despite what the package offerings include they explained each and every way you can join (even at the lowest commitment level). I inquired in person at another OT location and could not get many details about the cost, basic details and contact commitment. So I'm glad I had a friend to try it with, well worth my time.
