The community, inclusion, engagement from coaches and their attentiveness to everyone during class, the challenge! It’s all wonderful and such a great experience for anyone at any fitness level! I love that the workout is based on tangible metrics and benchmarks that show measurable progress. Being aware of my heart rate throughout the workout is helpful and it’s really cool to see how my zones change with improved fitness over time.
I love my trainer, Sue L, at the Greenville NC Studio. She is amazing. I attend the 5 am classes and every morning Sue is on the mic it's a great day. She is motivating, encouraging, and inspirational. I chose to continue here because of her. I've been recovering from a broken foot... for over three years. My doctors said it would be a goal to just walk again. I used to run 5k's.... I gained so much weight not being able to walk. PT was awful, and after a full year I was walking again, but with a great deal of pain. It took me another year to get back down to a weight where I could work out moderately but I was still skeptical of joining a gym for regular fitness. I never thought I would run again. When I joined OT with my twin sister she raved about how easy it is... the workouts are set for you, you just come in and go hard. I have been a member for almost a month now, and I ran this morning! Sue encouraged me to push through. I hit a low moment on the rower after an interval of lunges because balance on my right foot is bad, and after only one set of lunges, I felt defeated. There was some mental strengthening at work this morning. She encouraged me to trust myself, and that it was mind over matter and I could do it. And not even five minutes later, I ran for the first time since 2019!
The coaches are very motivating. I really like that the workouts are different everyday. I like the class aspect and the fee if we cancel class without enough time. So much motivation to show up. I also really enjoy the transformation challenges. Gets us to show up consistently. And, it’s just fun!
Great coaches, huge variety per workout, specialty workouts/challenges to keep it interesting and show progress, personal attention/name recognition - not just a number, positive atmosphere, multiple classes to fit my schedule..
The orange theory workout is the perfect mix of cardio and strength training, combined in a group class with encouraging coaches! It is the best part of my day when I complete a workout and feel better when I leave than when I got there. It also helps that I get to workout along side my husband and friends. This workout is great for beginners and experienced athletes of all ages!
