I like that the workout is ALWAYS challenging. I know I have gotten stronger in the months I've been there, AND because I can adjust the workout based on my CURRENT fitness level, I am always challenged and pushed to do better, try better, and be better.
The workout is always challenging. I like the mix of aerobic exercise and weight training. I can say that now I look forward to exercising and feel energized after each class. Orangetheory Fitness has changed my attitude toward working out!
The front desk staff is so friendly and really try to remember you. The effort makes you feel very welcomed from the beginning. The coaches are so energized and get you motivated even when you feel like you don't have it in you that day. I love having the heart rate monitor to push you just a little bit further during your workout. It also doesn't hurt that I've been seeing some little results.
I enjoy Kristy's classes, she keeps the class fun while providing great coaching. I have taken classes for other trainers around Houston and DFW, she is the one I compare them to. I haven't found a better one yet.
It would be great if OTF offered a pre paid option that was equal in cost to the month to month options. Maybe there would is a way to leave XX number of slots open in each class until two weeks before the class to slow newer clients slots to get in.
The circuit training allows me to work out for longer without getting bored or overly fatigued in any one muscle group. The visuals (information card on rowing machines and treadmills, informational screens in floor area, performance monitors and summary) combined with the instruction of the trainer keep me engaged and informed throughout the workout.
