I like that it is structured, intensive, you're measured against yourself and not others, and there is almost no talk about physical appearance or norms informed by diet culture.
I like that I am told what to do and I don’t have to think about it. I like that they can accommodate me when I am injured. I like that it is only 1 hour long.
I really want to recognize Erica who works at the front desk. No matter what time I’m there (whether it’s a 5am class or a 10am class), she’s there with a big smile and a warm greeting. She has been so helpful, patient and supportive of me as I get used to OT. I have been to many gym and have worked as an instructor at gyms and Erica must be one of the most resourceful and supportive gym employees I’ve ever worked with. I cannot compliment her enough - she has made me feel so confident and comfortable and it’s always such a joy seeing her as I walk into the door.
The workout is great, but the wait lists and available times are painful. Enough that we have dropped to the pay per class since we cant get into enough of the classes we would prefer so its losing its value.
Extremely motivating and energizing! I like the diversity of the workouts and I love the size of the classes and the music! All of the coaches are great, too (and staff)!
