I like the various templates and the community atmosphere. I see regular faces and we all support each other. Working out next to others helps keep me engaged in the workout.

Being very out of shape, I was looking for some thing that would challenge me, and be enjoyable. The coaches have an amazing ability to bounce between everyone and give tips to help improve form when lifting weights and encouragement went on the treadmill. Alex, Miranda, Jesse, Jacqueline, and Brenton all have been there to encourage me and make me come back. While each has their own style, I know they are there to help me reach my goals. This is the first time I’ve ever taken a class like this and worked with free weights. I truly appreciate them. I have even added coming to a third class weekly when I originally signed up with the thought of only doing two a week. The strength 50 class is perfect for my balance of aerobics the other two days. Let them know that they empower a middle-aged woman in a workout skirt. Please let them know how much they are appreciated by me.

I love the variety of exercises we do and how my results are tracked so I can physically see my progress over time. I also love how my heart monitory shows how hard I'm pushing myself. The random benchmarks sprinkled throughout the calendar also give me a goal to push towards, like the next mile on March 20 (?) I think! I'm not on social media, so was not aware there also was a leader board. Up until now, it was "you against you". Now it's me against my peers. I'm pretty competitive.
