I came to use this facility a couple times while I was visiting from out of town during Thanksgiving weekend. The trainer, Amy, was amazing. She was full of great energy and very welcoming. The staff at the desk on Wednesday and Saturday, (of Thanksgiving weekend), were very kind and helped me reserve my classes. I will definitely return to this facility the next time I am in town. Thank you for everything.
I like that you can do "your own thing" depending on the day and how you feel. You are given a challenge but if it isn't working for whatever reason you can still work hard and feel like you accomplished something.
I like when the instructors give us individual coaching/recommendations. I still suck at rowing and so any help is always welcome and appreciated.
I loved the variety between the treadmills and the rowers/strength training. I absolutely loved the heart rate monitors; I had never used one before, so it was fascinating to follow that during the workout. The trainer I had was great and the whole environment was very motivating!
I loved the variety of ages, sizes, and athletic ability in the room. Everyone was encouraging each other and the trainer was very energetic. I knew everyone was there to become a better them and they were willing to help me along the way as well. The trainer encouraged me to go out of my comfort zone and reach new potential, but never forced me to do something I was not ready to do. There were different levels to each exercise making it very personalized. While I may have a base speed of 4.5, the person next to me may feel the need to have a base speed of 5.5, and that was okay. Absolutely loved everything about the workout and I definitely walked out of there feeling better about myself.
