I like the elevated heart rate, moving from one exercise to the next. I appreciate the coaching, keeping me accountable to form and effort, as well as the encouragement. I've been struggling to make the gym a regulare thing for me this past year. Orange Theory takes the thinking out of it for me and I end up with a great workout, even if I lacked the motivation in the beginning. Thanks to Coach Sarah for a great workout.
I love that OT pushes me with a variety of workouts. Fantastic coaches that actually make a point to know me always feels welcoming and encouraging. Also, the fact that I can go to OT anywhere is a bonus. I tell people about OT all the time, and Midtown, my home base, is the best!
I don’t have to think about it but I get a lot of variety. Fun music, nice attitude around pushing yourself (but not beast mode). Convenient times. And the gamification of my stats gives my brain something to do while running on the treadmill
McKenna was insightful and instructive! The staff was pleasant and supportive while Kailyn was proficient and effective!! That is a well oiled machine. When Sugar Land rejected us Midtown found a way to get us in and loved us like fanily! Kailyn is the best and her team equally so! Sugar Land sucks. Period!
As a first timer to any type of exercise routine, the coach and staff made me feel welcome and at home. I arrived early to make them aware and throughout class my form was corrected and I was given praise when doing something right the first time. It is the type of class as I was looking for and I look forward to going back every time, even if I know the workout is going to kick my butt.
I love how I feel after a workout! And I love that I never have to think about my workouts - I just show up, follow the instructions, and I know I’ll have a great workout every time.
I also love that there is no pressure to go faster or lift heavier. I feel free to move at the rate that is right for my body, and to adjust the workout to fit my needs.
The variety. I especially enjoy the classes that break up the treadmill with rowing time. The more we change up during class, the better. Just wish so many classes weren't getting cut here. I miss coming to this location!
And i like the coaches giving feedback making sure you are doing the exercises correctly. Not all locations do that.
Also, the people checking you in are so sweet. Always nice to see them.
I just have one critique. There is one Patron who does not wipe machines, weights, mats, etc when he's done. It is so gross. I have watched him literally take a wipe and just swipe it once the mat and bench meanwhile he is the sweatiest person I've seen during my time there. He's a very large guy and i understand he's going to sweat more but to think it's ok to spray all over the top and bottom of the treadmill and treadmill next to you and leave it that way is not OK. I get it is awkward and I feel like the coaches are mentioning it more to wipe up when he's in class. But I don't know if they've noticed how little he does when we're in the weight area. Now it makes me want to wipe down all of my machines before I begin to use them. Especially with us getting in the winter season when so many people are sick.
It's an efficient HIT workout! I don't have to plan or figure out my exercises. I have real time results and feedback. The coaches are awesome and encouraging. It also holds me accountable
