I like the high calorie burn. The instructors put their heart into teaching. The front office staff is mostly helpful although I don't always feel heard. For example, I mentioned that Victor Gonzalez, previously the lead coach in RSM has returned from Chicago and is looking to teach again in OC. "Oh, we have other instructors on a waitlist before him". You have no idea the clients this man pulls in. There were a lot of tears from his students when he took a leadership position at OTF in Chicago. He has now returned and you at the MV location are blowing a major opportunityfor your studio.
I have difficulty getting new students into classes and I'm hopeful there will be a plan in the future. One week prior when I have added a friend to the waitlist we have not gotten in... and the staff didn't seem to care very much or do anything to help.
Overall, it's a decent business. I go because of my changing work schedule and of the many options for class times and high calorie burn. I like the instructors. Thank you Shari, Anthony, & Shana. I have referred 7 clients between 3 studios. Most are happy and still attend.
I've lost over 60lbs since starting Orangetheory a year ago. Orangetheory is small enough that it feels more like friends and family than a giant "gym" where you don't know anyone. Coach Ashley Szabo is awesome! She is kind and helpful and very motivating. Due to injuries I can not perform some of the exercises. Ashley is quick to give me alternatives that work with my limitations. I feel like I get a personal trainer who cares every time I walk through the door!
