Orangetheory has been one of the best workout investments for me. I’ve been apart of the Norwalk club for over a year and have gone down an entire size along with my all out speed went from 7.0 to 8.2. I referred a ton of my friends! I love it and highly recommend.
My only critical feedback i can share is when an instructor is late (happened to me twice - recently a few Monday’s ago) there isn’t anything to give back to the members. I was told we received a free late cancel for an instructor who was extremely late (I left after 30 min) and when I used my ‘get out of jail free’ card it was not applied to my account. The front desk said I had to call corporate and they couldn’t help me. I rarely ever miss class when I sign up. You can check my track record on this. Seems like a different process should be applied for this type of thing. A few Monday’s ago many of us left upset when our workout was only 35 minutes. I really think it would be helpful to try to give back to members when things like this happen or reimburse us for the time we stood there waiting.
I love the Norwalk location- y'all really take the time to get to know each person by name and treat everyone on a level far beyond just the abnormal business-customer relationship. Looking forward to visiting when I'm back from Dallas. Plus, the workouts are killer...im glad I joined!
I love my OTF workouts and would recommend the classes to anyone and everyone, but since Pierre left, the coaches are just not as engaging. I really appreciated that he would make sure you were doing exercises correctly, and I don't think the other coaches I've gone to have done that.
I did take a class with Amanda and she was great, but I think everyone is aspiring to be Pierre - those shoes will be tough to fill. I think, though, if you recommend that coaches interact more with clients that will help.
I really like the intensity of the workout. Bob, the instructor was terrific. He really paid attention to my being in the session for the first time. The mixture of cardio and weight training made for an intensive workout.
I love that I can know what to expect every day, but also know that every day will be a little bit different. I love being able to have all my workouts on the calendar for the week/month, and feeling committed to going. I always leave feeling accomplished.
