I love the push, and I always feel like I had a great workout after every class.
The coaches are great with correcting form on the floor. I appreciate that.
I would say everything except when we switch stations too much. You loose time and just when you’re building up to the Orange Zone, you have to stop and switch and it drops your heart rate, essentially having to start over. Thank you.
It is an intense one hour workout that addresses endurance, strength and power . I feel that I’m able
To go into any OTF studio and feel comfortable with how the class will be conducted. While the class is coached, you work at your own ability with the coaches monitoring and encouraging you to push yourself to get stronger. I love how you use the treadmill, rower and weight room so it helps
You to develop muscles you may not know you had. There is a camaraderie among the clients that is developed and friendships.
The workouts are different everyday, the coaches are knowledgeable and well trained. Clients are given modifications when and if needed and are constantly spotted if they a are doing an exercise incorrectly.
It's fun. I would recommend it to someone who benefits from cardiovascular training at moderate to high intensities. It really depends on individual goals. The only thing I don't like about it is that it might encourage someone to push too hard because they're comparing themselves to others on the board. As a perimenopausal person myself, I need to take it down a notch or two to prevent overtraining and underrecovering. But on the whole, I'm having fun. I primarily wanted to try it for the social aspect. The days I go and don't know anyone are slightly less enjoyable. But I still get a great workout in. And it's helping me develop my sprint interval capacity.
I like the variety of the split workout format of rows and floor to treadmill. The instructors are nice and helpful. The heart rate monitor is helpful for me to understand how I am doing. The playlists I have heard so far in the classes motivate me to push harder.
I love that everyone does the same thing at the same time at their own level. I love the encouragement you get the entire hour with the music also. I recommend OTF to everyone!
