The trainers are all excellent. They are always push me to do my best in every class and they are extremely supportive. I love how the exercises are always changing so no two classes are exactly the same. Honestly I have nothing but good things to say about OTF.
Pushes me to work out to my fullest. The trainers are great! Was never a runner and don't like to run but having a little bit of cardio mixed with the floor workouts really creates a well balanced workout, has me leaving feeling accomplished and fulfilled.
My heart rate monitor has gone from orange/red zone straight to gray zone several classes. When notifying staff the first time, they instructed me to wear it on my forearm instead of on my bicep. This happened a few more times in different classes in the following weeks, where I would be in orange or red zone and the screen would suddenly show gray zone and low BPM and not recalibrate for a few minutes to several minutes. I have a personal heart-rate monitor that I would reference against the OTF bpm screen, and the BPM’s were always very comparable during workouts, except for these handful of instances where the OTF heartrate monitor failed. I made a request on the app, but was told they only handle app support requests. I told my studio each time, where they kept telling me things like: sometimes the bluetooth has bad connection, my max heart rate needed to be adjusted, my weight needed to be adjusted, it needed to recalibrate, etc. I requested that there be a replacement after the 3rd and 4th time. The 5th time it happened, I requested to cancel my membership on Monday July 1st and submitted a cancellation for me and my wife on a paper document that night. After no one reached out to me Tuesday or Wednesday, I went to the studio after work on that Wednesday, July 3. The studio manager insisted that I was incorrect, my heartrate monitor was fine, and said the heartrate monitor doesn’t track in real-time - except the website says it tracks in real-time, along with an email and logical observation. I was baselessly accused of threatening their staff without any indication as to what this supposed threat entailed, because it didn’t happen. I was told I was demanding because I asked that my heartrate monitor be replaced on the fifth time it failed, and requested a refund. The manager continued to interrupt and talk over me while I tried to reason my observations of how the heart rate monitor kept failing, and was informed of the 30 day cancellation notice. I paid $130 for the heartrate monitor, whereas my wife’s monitor has had zero malfunctions, mine has had at least 5 instances of non-activity with the staff being notified each time.
The coaches make you accountable, workout makes you burn the calories and utilize almost every muscle group in the body within the 60 minutes.
Now with the new feature of Strength and Tread 50 you can really mix it up during the week allowing you to improve on your weak points if you so choose to do so.
Katie was excellent in providing my wife and I all the information we needed. Kind and patient, we decided to both join this location.
Can’t wait to start.
Everyone was so friendly with a clean environment. I brought my friend for her first class. Front desk was great. Wished the instructor had checked in with her more often. Also, the instructor’s microphone was soft and a little fuzzy.
I like that the workout is always different from one day to the next. I also like not needing to plan what I am going to do; all I need to do is show up and let the coach guide me.
