Most Orange Theory locations have really low ceilings. This is bad because that means a fan or speaker are really close to your head when you are on a piece of equipment. I LOVE this location because of its high ceilings and large open spaces. Burlington is sooo small with really low ceilings. Its like exercising in a sardine can with 15 strangers. And I have heard Andover classes are always really crowded - no thanks.
Additionally, the Reading location has familiar faces, friendly and helpful staff with great suggestions who dont hover over you and allow you to adopt a pace that makes sense to me, especially as I am new and trying to increase my endurance.
I really wish there was a 7:30pm class again, like during COVID. It was a great way to clear my mind before bed.
I love the constant mixing up of the routines so that your mind and body don't get bored. I'm loving the new 50 min classes, because you can really focus on running or weights if you are looking for more of a specific training. The other clients are lovely. The coaches take the time to get to know you and check in with you (especially Melissa and Kim in North Reading!!), which makes you feel seen and more a part of something. I've been a member for four years and I have no plans to stop now!
The workouts are always challenging and varied. The coaches are awesome, and really motivating. I like how there has been a focus on strength and lifting heavy during the floor blocks recently.
I have been a member of OTF since Feb. 2019. I absolutely love it. The workouts change and evolve all the time, so you don't get bored. I have never left not feeling like I got a great workout (aka: tired and sweaty!). They do a fantastic job with hiring, as nearly every coach I've ever had takes notice of their regulars, and is right there to cheer us on or notice when we might not be at a our best and need a break/modification. The playlists are really motivating as well. It really does feel like a community and I love being a member!
