I love the trainers, the music, that we know what’s coming, the challenges. I think it’s a great workout model. I do wish if I was having trouble doing an exercise correctly or if a trainer noticed I was doing it wrong that they would come correct my form. All and all I think it’s an amazing workout.
Love it here! Great community and love that everything is tied to your own heart rate and what *you* are capable of--not the person next to you. This makes working out SO FUN!
I love the structure of the workouts and how the focus is different each day. I've been a member for 5 1/2 years and still start my week's planning with my OTF schedule. I always feel great after my workouts. The coaches have come and gone, but most of them have always been upbeat and positive.
Redlands is my home studio, but I also frequently attend classes in Newport Beach. My only complaint about Redlands is the music. Way, way, way too much rap music - its just not inspiring. I know the coaches are one, maybe two generations behind me (I'm 57) but it would be nice to mix in some rock (Def Leppard, AC/DC, Guns N Roses, Aerosmith, Billy Squier, Van Halen, Sammy Hagar......I'd be happy to make up a playlist - LOL).
I love that I can come to class with fun coaches that make me glad I came! I never knew what to do in the gym, so this style of class is perfect for me!
Variety, intensity. It's a great all around workout for everyone, no matter where they are in their fitness journey. I love it!
The only thing I don't like is the playlist of some of the coaches. Would love more rock and less rap, or Juice WRLD type music. That music is totally uninspiring and is almost a "downer". Its OK to play that because people like it, but not that genre for the entire class. Like the workouts, make it a variety. That really is my only complaint. When AC/DC or Guns N Roses comes on, my pace picks up - unfortunately I don't hear much of that!
