The fact that we wear heart monitors so I know when to slow down or pick it up. I haven't had any regular exercise program for a long time so I know I have to "go easy" at first but I'm afraid I've spent too much time "going easy" and not pushing myself to do more. With the heart monitor I'm confident I can push to go harder without hurting myself.
I loved being being in a group atmosphere that inspired me to keep moving at the rate most appropriate for my disabilities. Great friendly and professional staff were most helpful and members seemed very motivated.
The favorite part of OT workouts is the consistancy it offers with so many different class options, the difference I see In my body and fitness, the good habits that it allows me to incorporate into my life (working out 5-6 times a week) and the bad habits it has allowed me to break (coming home from work and eating til dinner). I have been working out at OT since august 2016 and LOVE the workouts. You have to realize that every other workout routine I have tried I have not enjoy d and eventually gave it up. I think this style of workout has found its way into my new lifestyle and I'm LOVING it! It's the hardest workout I've ever done but worth the hard work!
