It's high intensity Interval (HIIT) & a great calorie burn. The mix of exercises and tempos makes the workout challenging, but never monotonous. The trainer/coach pushes you (with enthusiastic instruction and a lively musical playlist), yet everyone has their own pace, working to their own capabilities as measured with heart rate monitors. I love to watch the monitor as I try to reach the appropriate level/color during each phase of the workout, and I love getting the calorie burn data. I feel it is a full body workout, and I love that each day is something different. It is the first time in my life that I've stuck with an exercise class and enjoyed it, and I see and feel the results.
I love the workout...it is different every time I come, working different muscle groups! The hour goes by so quickly! I also love the instructors, they are motivating and watch to make sure I am completing the exercises correctly!
The instructor was clear in calling out the moves. He was personable and assisted me after class. I visited Sarasota location and was entered in the system as a male so my calories I burnt were unusually high. I also like that the weight stations were numbered. The rowing machines need to be spaced out more.
