I’ve been at OTF member for over 6 years and still attend 3-4 times a week. For me, it’s just part of my regular routine. The workouts are varied and never boring. I love not having to think about or plan my workout- it’s the only place I love being told what to do! The coaches know when I need a push and when to let me take it easy. And I’ve come to know so many great people too.
The group motivation, reserved classes, varied intense workouts, and incisive coaching push me to unexpected exercise heights and fortifiy my ongoing commitment to stick with the program.
I never liked group classes but this one felt different. You go your own speed and can take things as easy or hard as you like, while also feeling the push of the trainer and other people working out around you. The trainers are really great, they checked in on me a few times each class to make sure I know what I'm doing and to give praise so that's awesome!
I love our coaches, they're gentle and supportive and help me improve positions, and alternative ways of going through the exercises.
I like the strengthening classes, esp. since they're also during weekends and evenings. Due to my work, I'm not able to go during the day.
It would be great to have 3g options during the weekend, now I see sometimes I'm #5 or 7 on a waitlist and just don't even sign up and make other plans. I understand that a lot is going on with 3g but I would love the option.
The warm-up exercises are great, I'm trying to do these exercises at home too - to keep up flexibility. I've noticed a bit of loss of strength and am very stiff - partially due to a sitting job (no matter how much I try to move around!) and some meds.
Thank you. (Please do not post my feedback and name).
I like that the workouts are science based and the heart rate tracker allows me to see my intensities throughout the workout. I also like that the templates are always different - the variety keeps the workouts interesting. The coaches are always nice and also motivating.
It’s quick but intense, the instructors at the Shorewood location are amazing, and it allows you to really push yourself, much more so than working out on your own.
I like that all I have to do is show up! I can go at my own pace and scale the workout to my ability. Kristin is awesome, always giving clear instructions and helpful tips for better form. The OT workout is an hour I can get away from the world and not think about my to-do list or deadlines. All of those stresses go out the window, and I can just focus on moving!
