I always feel like I’m being challenged to push myself. The workouts are fun and different so I never feel like I’m doing the same thing over and over. The coaches are always cheering us on, encouraging us to push ourselves out of our comfort zone.
I LOVE how compartmentalized the workouts are providing support when needed but otherwise allowing for autonomy and focus on one's physical needs/demands to get in a good sweat! There is purpose and good training provided in every workout. Some workouts are harder than others and left up to the individual for how challenged you want to be, or not... The trainers do a great job in motivating and noticing patrons during the routines. They are there to provide feedback and options for modifications OR just a voice to tune into when needing a little push!
I like the variety of strength and cardio training and how every workout is different every time. I like how some days are more challenging and some are less so that I don't feel overwhelmed with really hard workouts where I feel defeated every time OR that it is getting too easy for me to no longer want to participate...
I love the energy and motivation from my coaches. I am a road and mountain cyclist. This helps me tremendously with all the climbing. I love I can show up and not have to figure out what kind of workout to do. I love Orangetheory.
The format of being in a group setting pushes me to work hard. In team sports you don’t want to be the one not working hard. OTF creates that feeling for me again because you are working in a team setting. The attitude in class is great even though most are too focused or too tired to speak. I like how the classes use various fitness aspects for overall better health. I don’t have to hold my breath to tie my shoes anymore which sounds silly but that’s more important than a heavy bench press at this point. Finally, the Simi Valley Coaches Bri, Ginger, and Ethan are outstanding even at 5AM.
I love the interchangeable aspects! For instance, the mix of cardio with weights. Love the dark and loud music atmosphere! Also love the trainers energy and helpfulness throughout the workouts!
