I appreciate that I can tailor each workout to how my body is feeling that particular day - so if I’m feeling some strain in my lower back, the coaches provide modification, or that as I’m trying to improve my base, I have options for walking, jogging, and running that ensures I’m still maximizing the workout!
Also, what I appreciate about OTF Smryna in particular is the coaches and sense of community. Being able to connect with people before class in the lobby, coach theme days, etc. make me want to come back! I hope OTF will allow personalized playlists again - it gave us a sense of the coaches’ personalities and distinguished the gym from others.
Everything! I love the group class atmosphere that is very positive and encouraging. I struggle at a regular gym with what I should do, and if I’m doing it right, and how to not injure myself trying new things. I love the trainer’s guidance and help on the floor. I was very nervous at first to be so out of shape trying to keep up, but I was happy you do it together, but at your own pace. Right now I have an unlimited package and love the flexibility of using the different gyms. There are so many locations where I live, there are 4 in my main area! Wish they had a points package where you can bring a buddy or upgrade your tracker after so many classes. But I love orange theory!
I like the energy from working out with an energetic coach, good music and working hard for 50 minutes. Every class is an accomplishment once I finish it. The coach’s Always are motivating and encouraging
I love the variety of cardio and strength training every time. No two workouts are ever the same. The coaches are super motivating too. I love that I’ve mad so many friends and it always makes me smile when I’m greeted by name!
I appreciate the real-time body metrics that help me understand personal thresholds. Also, the relatively unintimidating nature of having three major stations or workout formats – rather than having too many options. And though some of the blocks can get way too complicated, most classes are easy to follow and pickup quickly.
Everything! I love how motivating the trainers are, and supportive the other attendees are. I like how it’s the same workouts across the nation so you can catch up with your OTF friends and you literally know their pain, haha.
It was an intense workout and very fun. The space in the facility is maximized to allow as many patrons to work out as possible while still having plenty of room to maneuver around. The playlist was energetic and motivating. I liked that there wasn't competition to start out on the treadmills. If you wanted a tread, there were plenty available.
Great instructors, variety of classes, gamification to track your heart rate, calories burned and overall progress. Easily one of the top workouts (HIT) in the US today.
The OTF Mableton location coaches (that have stayed) are great. They are energetic and do their best to make the workouts fun. I would say the technology needs some improving as there have been many times where all treadmills, rowers, and/or the monitor for the weight floor are not working properly. If this gym was as packed as others, I feel that this would be attended to more efficiently.
The staff and coaches are great! Have had a few friends from other studios come to workouts at Smyrna with me and they’ve loved the staff and coaches as well. I like that the workouts are challenging without being daunting (or overly painful) and you can get a total body workout.
