I love that the trainers are so motivating throughout the entire workout! From helping to correct form to pushing us on the treadmills, they also make the workout so much more fun and pushing me to the limits!
They are pre planned. I don’t have to think about what muscle group I should be using or focusing on. I like that it’s timed and strategic. I like the balance of cardio and weightlifting. I love challenges and benchmarks. I enjoy the music and energy.
Teachers are knowledgable, encouraging, passionate, and interested in each client. Desk staff is warm and friendly. Clean facility. Good music. Great workout in 60 minutes.
It’s about achieving individual goals but feels more supported when working in a group. Without peer pressure. It might appear very competitive but the classes always feel welcoming to everyone at every fitness level. Yes you are guided by a trainer but you are not shamed or badgered to go beyond what is safe for you. Yes you are challenged and it feels hard. But that is how you grow and do things you never thought you could. Orange Theory is about long-term transformation not quick fixes and extreme exercise programmes. I try hard to do as much as I can knowing when to ease off so that I can make the next class and not get injured. It’s about turning up and making healthy habits. If you can get to that point you’ll really see some starling changes physically and mentally. I am not an athlete and I’m in my early 50’s so it can be a struggle. However, this is the gym program that keeps me coming back and at times has made a proven difference to my fitness goals. I recommend it to anyone.
