I like that I feel accomplished when it's done. I feel strong and powerful when I'm doing the work. I like that I can just show up and the coaches have the workout planned and timed so I don't have to think about what to do when I get to the gym.
I'm currently battling an injury - instructors are thoughtful and knowledgeable about providing modifications to exercises. I love that I can work out at my own pace, and not feel like I have to compete with the people around me. Even though I have an injury and have to take a more cautious approach, I still get an amazing workout.
I've been an OT member since Dec-2014 and try to consistently go 2x per week. I love the workout! It is an intense 55-min activity led by a trainer. The "routine" is never routine....the exercises and treadmill work are always different in some way. The environment is very comfortable...people of all shapes, sizes and athletic ability. The competition is solely with yourself and your own heart-rate. For those of us that get bored doing this in a self-directed fashion, OT is a great alternative!
