It’s a place accepting of people at all levels of fitness, and the coaches have all been extremely helpful to a novice like myself. As I’ve progressed in my short time there, the ones who’ve I’ve gotten to know congratulate me when I walk in, leave, and most encouragingly during the workouts. I’m really glad I joined and am on the path to be in the best shape of my adult life thanks to their guidance.
I like the use of data and the science.
I like the rower and treadmill for cardio.
I do not like the floor work as much as it feels a bit hectic and confusing. I would prefer more ways to see the exercises than the one monitor provided. Perhaps a handout or laminated card for each to use like a check list?
It is also so, so loud. I question the efficacy of the music being so loud.
I also wonder of the floors. How often are they cleaned; people are wearing shoes outside the gym and bringing germs into the gym from their shoes.
I would like to know more about the air filtration systems, if any.
I like the group workout at OTF because it makes you accountable to yourself and the people in the class. Each workout is different and the three stations (rower, tread, and floor) keep things fresh and prevent burning out. The coaches keep the workouts moving along and they are all very helpful, supportive, and friendly. The attendants are also very friendly.
My 1 hour workout is a success when I get at least 12 splat points and burn a minimum of 850 calories.
I love how you get a good work out and the time flies by. I don’t have to plan. I leave feeling great. The coaches are amazing and I have gotten to know the people in the classes with.
I always feel so energized by the coaches and the atmosphere in the gym. I am obsessed with how amazing I feel and how much of a difference that going to the gym makes for my physical and mental health.
I like:
*1 hour duration.
*Being in control of your intensity. The heart rate monitors help measure the intensity.
*Personally being able to burn[PHONE NUMBER REMOVED]+ calories in 1 hr.
*Group workouts holding me accountable...no slacking while others are around you.
*When coaches notice your increases in intensity at the various stations.
*Benchmarks because they give you a data point to better understand your fitness level.
Thanks,
Terry
