I love the running portion the best followed by weights. I enjoy knowing that every day will be a different experience and I will have a great workout. The amount of classes offered is excellent. The ladies at the front desk at the Strathcona office are so friendly and helpful. The coaches are phenomenal and I like how they correct you when doing weights to ensure your safety while working out. Keep up the fantastic work everyone!

I like that Orange Theory gives me instantaneous results. Seeing my heart rate and where it's at, let's me know whether or not I'm challenging myself. I know that on my own, in a gym, I don't work as hard as I do at OT. I can't wait for 6 weeks to see the changes in my body or the scale. I see the result, my heart rate and points instantly. I like that the workouts are at flexible times each day. My life doesn't allow me to go at 8:00am everyday (for example), I can coordinate to change my workouts to my lifestyle, which also changes every week. I also like that no one is looking at me. Everyone is too busy doing their own thing to notice anyone else, which I like. I want to go there for an hour, know that I've put my time in, for that hour, and it's done. I know that I've done my best on that day, some days my best is different than on other days, and that's ok too! Because it's really my heart rate that determines my success that day, not how much I can lift. I'm not being compared to anyone else. I like the coaching training and coaching methods. Breaking the workout into blocks makes it more manageable. In my head I think "Ok, I just have to do it for a minute. I can do a minute" the coach counts me through that minute. Then I'm done that minute and on to the next. Then the same internal voice gets me through the next minute, with the coach guiding me along. I believe change happens for most people in increments. Increments are attainable. Most people who make big goals or want big changes, have greater success if they can break those goals down into smaller goals. OT breaks everything down into small, attainable goals, which turns into results. Orange Theory checks all the boxes to ensure my fitness success.

It is challenging, but also allows you to do what you are able to do. I like that it is varied and targets many areas such as endurance, power, etc. I have had some medical issues recently and the staff at Strathcona (Edmonton, AB) have been very supportive and recommended an excellent practitioner who has come to speak at that location before. He has been extremely helpful and I would not be improving had they not recommended him.
