I love, love, love the new format of either strength or cardio workout. It allows me more control of my weekly workouts to incorporate cardio and strength trng when I want. The treadmills are on steroids, going from 0-60 in record time. Love the high energy and music.
I love Orange Theory workouts because I don't have to think! Everything is set up and pre-planned. I go in and shut off my brain. The endorphins kick in and I leave feeling amazing! The feeling of community and family is Awesomeness!
I love the cardio portion. The treadmills go from zero to 60 at lightning speed. The weight portion is ok. I don’t like that I may come two days in a row and the same body part is worked. I need one day muscle recovery. Plus people get too competitive and then I get sucked into it instead of focusing on form. I also never notice the instructors correcting form, but with as many as 20 people that could be daunting.
The OTF Sunrise coaches are awesome! I really enjoy the workouts because I don’t need to plan them anymore, all I do is show up and do what the coach asks me to do. I was skeptical at first about the need to buy a heart rate monitor, but I have used it both in and outside of the gym. It’s helped me work towards my fitness goals. I highly recommend OTF Sunrise.
The structure allows each participant to challenge themselves. The coaches and music selections are great, and the energy when you get into class helps motivate you to push towards your goals.
